Whilst assisting in the recording of Bartoks Divertimento for String Orchestra by the Halle at the Free Trade Hall , Manchester, for Piccadilly Radio in 1980, I chanced upon the programme notes which detailed the "ruthless application" of the Fibonacci number series.
From that day on,
Leonardo of Pisa would inform many aspects of my own recorded work.
Would the numbers create musical magic of their own?
